Hi everyone,

Let me ask you... Can you not help tinkering with your Pinkies? Do you plan which part you're going to repaint even before you have the Pinky in your hands? Do your fingers carry scars from your craft knife, are your clothes stained with paint, is your desk littered with tins and pots of various sprays and liquids that baffle the uninitiated? Are the chopped up Pinky limbs scaring your family? Or maybe, you like making little accessories for your Pinkies from fimo or sculpey? You design paper backgrounds that can be printed and glued together to create scenery and props? Perhaps you've discovered a brilliant way of keeping your Pinkies safe, super-organised and you have the magic cleaner that helps to remove grime and paint stains off plastic? If you answered "yes" to any of the above, you're what we need.

Our customising forum needs organisation and filling up with new information. Old posts get buried, searching becomes more difficult, the same questions being asked over and over again... This is where you come in. Collectively, we've got an enormous amount of knowledge regarding Pinkies and how to fix, mod and care for them. We need all that knowledge written down in posts and organised into FAQs, or as we call it, The Pinky:st Customising Database, which, hopefully, will become the biggest one anywhere! But.. What's in it for you? Well, read on...

Jess, you may know her as Itachi, has come up with a great idea, and of course I couldn't help sticking my nose it in too ;) We put our heads together and came up with a raffle and prizes! The sponsor for our raffle is none other than Hobby Link Japan, THE authority in Japanese hobby products. And the prizes are:

Grand prize:
Choro-Q KR200 + putty of your choice (Epoxy Putty Smooth Surface, Pre-Thinned Putty White, or Mr. White Putty)

First Prize:
Pinky Clothes + putty of your choice (after the grand prize winner chooses)

Second Prize:
Pinky markers + putty

Runners up:
2 identical prizes of an exacto knife and sculpey

So how is this going to work? Like a real raffle. You'll be "buying" tickets by submitting to our Pinky:st Customising Database. Depending on what you submit, you'll get a different number of tickets; to be fair, we've divided up submissions into categories as follows:

    * photograph of a custom: 1 raffle ticket
    * short tip or advice: 1 raffle ticket
    * short tutorial: 2 raffle tickets (+1 raffle ticket if the tutorial includes photos)
    * long tutorial: 5 raffle tickets (+1 raffle ticket if the tutorial includes photos)

The raffle is open to all forum members, it will take place until January, but we may extend it if need be.

So, won't you help us and maybe learn a new thing or two from others? No advice or tip is too small or too obvious, submit it and get a chance to win a prize!

I mean like, creating props, sculpting pinky parts etc.

yes, it seems like what is already in the customizations board, but without simply questions about customizations. will these two boards be integrated in the future?

Pretty much everything!  We'd like for this forum to become like an encyclopedia or a handbook for everyone, from beginner to expert and everything in between. We're pretty much starting from scratch so we need everything 

We'll see how it goes... I made a new forum so we can keep the raffle separate to the other things going on in the customising forum. All the tutorials and advice will be duplicated on the website so it's more permanent (you know how it is, photos disappear over time and this will prevent it) and we might even have download-able pdf FAQs and such.

errr....    im not gd in writing ... but i would love to contribute by sending some of my modifiy pinky background done by me....
i have save them in pdf  ... isit alrite if i send to u inga  ...
i wouldnt might to send u the orginal file but it in freehand & u can change the color if u think it doesnt work when we print out...

Cool backgrounds! Though, you can make some things pop out more, for instance, giving the house behind the fence a darker color than the fence.

Is any sort of customization okay here, even just minor things like a repaint and a bit of reshaping? I'm actually working on taking my bootleg Asuka's hair and making something with it right now, I'd like to share when I'm done :D

I'll have to enter as soon as I get my Pinkies and customize them~. The whole customization factor is what drew me to buy them all anyway. (All five of them XD) Hehe~.

I can't wait for them to arrive now~

We're in a great need of tutorials, so if you can show step by step repainting and any other techniques (preferably with photos), that'll be awesome.

Unforutunately the painting bit's already been completed ><'' But I'm working on another custom I could try to make a tutorial of :)

Does this include stuff made for Pinkys?  Like the pink bedroom I made for Hana?  I'll probably also have a tutorial with Moe's new pink hair ^__^;;; though I didn't take too many photos during the making...

I'll probably do another customization soon though ^^  I want more sitting legs~~

Yes, you can do a tutorial, for example, on how to make an accessory for your pinky, or if you build the house/room from scratch. You'd need to include materials needed, and at least describe how to do it, preferably, step by step photos would be best (and gets you more tickets  )
