hi guys...
im using photoshop element to edit my pic...
just wonder do u ever use Despeckle & Reduce Noise under Filter??  HUH??
is there any different if i use Unsharp Mask under Filter??? HUH??
im kind of confuse.... Dammit !

I never use the unsharp mask, but I have used the despeckle filter before and it helps clear up stuff like lighting problems/difference, dust reflections, and stuff like that. But I think the unsharp mask is fine for what you want to do  Cute smile

If the noise level is very high, I use despeckle or reduce noise. Otherwise I don't touch these two filters at all.


I hate noisy photos. That's why I always set my ISO lower. Lighting may be compromised but it's easier to tweak lighting than noise level.

unsharp mask makes photos sharper, which brings out the grain even more. Despeckle and Reduce Noise help clear up dust, etc. and some grain in photos.
