Buying a new camera?

Ok, so my camera totally died on me  Very Sad soooooo, I'm in the market for a new one. The problem is I don't have the money to splash the cash and just buy a new one.

I was wondering, does anyone know where I can buy a camera on a price plan? You know where you put a deposit down and get the item right away but you pay for it by paying a set amount every week/month for however long.

Gee I sure hope that makes sense  Nervous

I'd suggest checking out any local camera shops and asking around. If one camera shop doesn't, they probably know one that might! Good luck. :)

Also, you can take out a loan at the bank.  If you've been with them for a while, I'm sure they wouldn't have trouble extending a line of credit for you.  That way you can pay back the bank AND get some sort of credit rating from it.  Stores in North America will also have store based credit cards (though the interest on these can be as high as 28%).  If you go through a bank, chances are you can sit down with a financial planner and negotiate a good deal on the insurance and on the payment plans.  Just make sure to ask if there are any penalties for missing a payment or for paying off the amount early.

what about home shopping catalogues? Freemans, Kays, Littlewoods, etc, they all have an electronics section, they're bound to have some cameras too  Thinking And often, they give you some months free credit  Awesome!
