HOW DOES PHOTO WEEK WORK?

What to do:
Post your photos of ANY of the figures named above, alone or with other Pinkies, in the appropriate thread. (In the old days there was a limited time during which new photos could be posted -- hence the title, "Photo Week." That's kinda... not enforced anymore.)

Why:
Aside from letting us enjoy each lovely girl (and the occasional guy), the idea is to gather more photos for the gallery on the main site.

Rules:
If you object to us using your photo on the main site, don't post here.
You may post as many photos as you like.
You will receive a credit (to your Pinky-Street screen name) for any photos used in the gallery.
Feel free to watermark your images.
You may alter your photos digitally, or add text or graphics.
You may post older photos, or photos which you've posted in other threads, but do take new ones too!
And... this one's very important: have fun!

Wonderful idea inga. 
Like I keep saying.. sadly almost all my Pinkys are trapped in a cupboard    until I can make space for them.  I hope to take more pics when thet happens but might not be for some time.  This thread will be very valuable when that time comes so I don't have to dig them out!

Well, I'll anyway submit to both as soon as I get some photos done, but for now I'm just curious

i wish my camera wasn't so terrible. i'd have hana, athena and ringo pictures comin' atcha so fast you wouldn't know what hit you! those three are probably my favorite heads. stupid camera...

Is it all right to resubmit pics from a particular post to photoweek? E.g.  I posted some pics of Sumire in a photo thread I started. Could I resubmit to the photoweek for posting to the gallery? I worry about redundancy...

no, it's perfectly fine  I don't harvest people's photo threads, it would take too much time asking for permission, etc. So if you want anything to appear in the gallery, simply post in the appropriate photoweek, that's why we created them

I don't know what's wrong, but Sacchin;'s photoweek is gone! 

I, too, just noticed that Sacchin's Photoweek is not accessible.

Also... and perhaps I'm just being obsessive/compulsive/nit-picky... I'd like to submit a proposal that one of the more ambitious (or less busy) moderators take a look at ALL the photoweek topics in order to:

a) create consistency in the topics by editing the titles and putting the word "Photoweek" or "Photo Week" in the title of each.

b) if you're really feeling ambitious or bored... some of the photo weeks are loaded with "photo has been removed' blank images. It's kinda depressing, like going to one of those fading shopping malls in which half the stores are vacant or going out of business. Might be nice to purge some of the broken photo link posts. (You could start with the Chun-Li and Athena topics!)
