My Sony Cybershoot is a 5.1 megapixels.
I bought it last year.

I remember mentioning to the salesman amongst the stuff I wanted, that I go to anime cons, and there are lots of crazies there. So I need a camera thats tough! So tough that you could bludgeon a small child to death with it.  Nervous Yes, those were my exact words. Hahah. Giggle Of course I was only kidding about the child bludgeoning.
But the guy who was standing nearby, who had a pram with a small child in it, took one surprised look at me, and promptly left the store. Very Happy

Update:
I ended up not getting the Sony T10B or the Samsung NV10 for bluA32, we were hesitant toward the purchase since the price wasn't very ideal at the time (no sale either). We waited for Sony's new release and then picked up the Sony Cybershot T100 in black when it came out. Very Happy It is 8.1 megapixels, captures high-resolution images up to 3264 x 2448 pixels, 5x optical/2x digital zoom with the Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens, a 3" color LCD monitor, and the ISO leve goes up to 3200. It's a very nice looking camera not mentioning very good as well. I've been testing it out by taking various photos outdoor and indoor, extrem macro and the camera's performance blew us away. It also has couple photo editing functions such as retouching..that are nifty. Chris and I are in love with it, it's super light weight, slim, and the menu/functions are easy to use as well. we are super happy with this camera purchase, it was worth the wait and the price!  Awesome! and he was happy to get another cool present from me Giggle

Prior to the Sony T100B, Chris had the Canon Powershot S400, Sony Cybershot FD92 (first digicam when it first came out back in high school) and the Sony Cybershot P100 (2nd digicam we won at raffle). I was using the Canon Powershot S230 (3.2 megapixels) until this past summer when I got the Sanyo Xacti C6, which is a 6 megapixel camera/camcorder. The neatest functions of the Xacti are that the ISO for the video function goes up to 3600 and that during recording videos, one could take photos as well. (a very neat function I found useful) However, as a digicam, the Xacti is not very strong since it's mainly for video recording, though I've managed.  Cute smile

Well... here is my issue.

I used to have a wonderful camera I got for Christmas 2006. It was a Canon Power Shot A530, but the poor thing was stolen three weeks after Christmas day... For several months I cried and missed it, since it was also my first digital camera ever, and in those three weeks, I did a lot. I took so many great pictures and fell in love with Photography.

Then two weeks ago, my mother got a new camera for the family. So, not exclusively for me. It's a camera from VuPoint Solutions, brand I never heard of before. Very small and cute, included case, USB with CD for you know what, and even a tool that allows you to take pictures underwater; among other things. The problem? The camera sucks as a CAMERA... Either the pictures look too dark or too bright... OR too grainy. And I hate it. I feel a great frustration when I try to take a good picture and it's impossible, because even if I stand far from the object to then zoom in, the image will look so ugly and blurry that it makes me want to pull all my hair out and run around crying... seriously.

I would like to know any of you have had such a problem and were able to solve it. And if so, how? I have tried with the settings, but it's not much what I know about camera settings. Camera is set to auto and normal as default in all the options right now.

Thank you for any future responses!
