seems like im a bit slow in this    pc down so can only depend on my friend pc nowadays..anyway,no worries bout guys collecting pinkys.i also used to though only girls collect dolls.. But now im a Hardcore pinky st collector..    cant get enough of them

I'm a guy! I don't see anything wrong with them! After all, it's not like they're dolls or anything. They're ubercool looking figures which are fun to play with and change around, and just look so cool :D

Meh. People should do what makes them happy. It's not really 'normal' for 20+ year old girls to be into these 'toys', either, actually--because in the opinion of society is we're too old for them. I know my mom cringes each time I get another 'toy' or doll pinky, especially given the price for some. She thinks its a waste of money and childish. She asks if my boyfriend thinks I'm a baby for getting them. (He doesn't). I understand the opinion of others might be worse for guys, but I wouldn't let other people stop you from doing what you enjoy. Especially if its so innocent and harmless.

I think Pinkies have a wide appeal because of the customizability. I know that my brothers kinda go all wide eyed when I bring out my parts to 'play' with (and by that I mean picking outfits), and they want to do it too. My mother got into it the other day, because theres just something about it. Pinkies are addictive. ^_^

And yeah, in Japan pinkies are aimed at males, of a certain age to boot. So have comfort in the fact the wide majority of collectors are probably like you. ^_^

For the most part yes. Unfortunatly I still know (and work with) a bunch of guys still planted in the frame of mind that 'a womans place is the kitchen', to coin a phrase.
So Im cautious when I know I have Pinkys coming, because I get them delivered to work, because if I get them sent home, then they turn up when Im not there andthe postman takes them back tot he postoffice, and I have to go there to get them.  
I get enough crap from these guys already.
Trust me, Id love everyone to knwo I collect Pinkys, maybe I could find someone local to trade parts with. But sometimes, for the sake of keeping everything running smoothly and simly, its better the just be silent.

And if messing round with the different parts to see what parts suit the different Pinkys and dont clash or anything. Then devising elaborate photostories and doing the photoshoot to make them is counted at playing. (As Inga says) Then Im guilty as charged!  

I have a few Figurines already. I collect them for various reasons. And Im even partial to the occasional cute thing. Of course Im pretty fussy about what I find cute, and what Ill spend my money on.

Oh, double! I'm an old man and i collect Pinky's. Well... not too old, but old enough to be a(n) (adjunct) (drawing) professor. I actually lost a Pinky when i brought it in as a small object to draw from all sides. Guy took it home and lost it. D: NOOOO!

No one's too down. I'm the only one who goes on about "my dolls" and people joke, but they take me as i am.

I think it doesn't matter if you are a boy or girl when you like pinky st dolls. many boys like cute girls so what is wrong if they like dolls which are looking like cute girls?

I think a guy who is comfortable with being into pinky street or any other 'girly' hobby is more of a man than the ones that skateboard and body build and all that 'macho' stuff.  I don't see anything degrading about being in this hobby - it's cute little figurines! Aren't lego people the same way - you take them apart, switch clothing pieces, change hair and stuff? Pinkies are like that but a bit more advanced.

like me i always like cute toys ... im a 31 yrs old "boy" who still collect paper dolls, pinkys, sylvainian families & other cute toys....i mean as long as u are happy & enjoy wat u collect dont care wat others think or comment...

Now thats the truth! But sadly way too many people out there are easily persuaded by hype, fashion etc. Do as other do or you're considered strange or worse, or so they believe. One can only be him/herself, but can be so much less than his/her true self. But what would you gain from that? False friends, that would be one thing. Anyhows, aye, people should do what makes them happy.

I'm a 28 y/o male with the heart of a collector. Pinky Street stole mine, so i have a steadily growing squad (army?).
