So does anyone know the actual release date for the Monster Hunter pinkies? I've looked all over the place and I find a range from September to November... 

According to Vance Project's own site, Monster Hunter are scheduled for a release in September - October. Since September has pretty much ended, we're left with October  HLJ have the release date in October and Hobby Search in early November. Seems no one knows for sure.

If this is the case, will the release of other Pinkys like the Haruhi series be also pushed back to a later date?  I hope not.

Delays are common  Usually, one release doesn't affect another (not that we know of anyway) so if one is delayed the other won't be necessarily.

Ok, I'm still kinda new to the Pinky scene, but I've laid eyes on the Shakugan no Shana Pinky in the new releases, and since it seems to state that it's a mail order/"special event" Pinky.

How would someone like myself who speaks close to no Japanese and knows no contacts get this particular cutie? 

a fellow forum member in Japan took some orders but I believe that's closed already. You can try ebay and yahoo jp auctions when Shana's released.

Ah, I take it that might be the "Hiro" I kept seeing pop up in some of the thread's conversations

Eee, the Haruhi ones are tempting... but I already have 2 Haruhi pcv figures(Haruhi, Mikuru), 1 Haruhi resin (Yuki Nagato), and a Max Factory pcv Ryoko Asakuru reserved. And a set of gachapon and the first Figumate series (missing special Mikuru, but I didn't want it.. ^^')

So... since I'm getting into pinkies mostly for customizing, I don't think I'll get them. (I wouldn't have the heart to mod a Haruhi pinky... though I could make molds from them. >3 )

is there any chance of some links for where you can pre-order pinkys from?
