Oh, does the kitchen stuff fit Pinkies pretty well? I've got a friend who's found a few sets for me, but I want to make sure that they actually will work with the dolls. 

I bought a photo frame from a shop chain "More than words" selling plush toys, mobilephone strap/toy, nail stickers, photoframes and cute mugs.

Location: Singapore, Orchard Road, Cathay Cineleisure, level 2.
It is in a form of 4 chairs which I can customise to become a bus stop with chairs. Yay! 

Originally I thought a girl snatched the last piece because the shop only have 1 item on display, luckily the paint on one of the white steel leg of the chair is scratched, so she asked if there is a new piece and they do. I quickly ask for one also. 

And it is so cheap, it is only SG $3.50.
No brand. Come in a generic cheap brown box.

As you can see it here, the legs are hanging, which means the height of the chair is a bit too much, but I can cut the leg of the chairs (although it is actually quite a tough steel).

out of curiosity [and for future reference when picking furniture and stuff] what are the dimensions of the average pinky?
its just that it'd be cool to have some type of paper cutout that you could take with you and place next to your selected item rather than taking one of your own pinkys with you.

What you can do is to bring a paper cutout measuring 10 cm long. that will be the height of a pinky.
However as I mentioned in my blog, there is a challange related to body proportion, which you have to take note of.

Ah! I've got basically exactly the same thing that I found in a somewhat local gift shop. The only difference with mine are the seats are a see through fluro green colour. My first thought when I saw it was; "This could totally be pinky sized". And I've just ordered the same yukata you have in your photo to test it out with. Mine was $5.

Uh strange. I ask the shop if they have different colour variations, they told me no. only red.

The store I went to had both fluro green and a white and pink pattern one.

i was looking at playmobil stuff and some of it is REALLY AWESOME!! i mean, a hair salon!? to die for!! does anyone know if most of it is pinky-sized? there's only 2 playmobil things on the list that i see, both listed as 'perfect pinky.' playmobil stuff doesn't come in clear containers, so it's hard to tell how big the stuff is compared to pinkys.

if anyone knows, please share the info! 

Ran into this at a bargain store (of all places lol!). it was only $4 and i'd say it's perfect pinky! I did some checking up on these toy sets, and some places sell them online for $4-10 a set (marked down from $10-25 a set). I ended up buying quite a few, waiting for them to come in the mail. 

This one is called Mighty World: Ed the Painter. It comes with a low-end figure that's 3" tall but the accessories are a bit oversized for the figure so it's perfect for pinkys! 




Set includes:
3 Paint brushes of different sizes
2 Cans of spray paint (tho one disappeared off of my desk during the shoot, sorry!  )
3 Cans of paint ( 2 with movable handles, and all have removable lids)
1 Roll Duct tape, 1 Bottle Thinner, 1 Bottle Primer, 1 Step ladder, 1 Paint roller (that actually rolls!) along with its tray, 2 small sheets cloth and one large sheet cloth.
