Since I'm guilty of creating several icons for the forum, I thought I should start a thread where we can consolidate the ones that everyone has made and have a place for people to submit new ones.  This would also probably be a good place to make icon requests.  Inga, if you think this needs to be a Sticky, I'm all for it!

Alright.  Here's the collection of icons I've made.

Feel free to "borrow" my ideas and make them yourself!  The list is half for my own purposes, because I get ideas and then forget.  So if I make a list I'll remember.

eheheh...     The list of the icon is getting big!    What should we do? keep adding, or should we remove some of the very similar icons?  

Well, I've made some really silly icons... Like the cat and the pirate and the spider.  I don't mind if you want to shift those to the "view more emoticons" section so the actual... emotion emoticons can be on the main list.

I think Firefly's idea of a "view more emoticons" tab is really good.  
I do think some emoticons are sort of repetative like :pdrop:   and   :pwow: and :pangry:   .  
In almost all cases I am going to choose the animated one over the static one.  The exception for me would be     because those seem to be different degrees of sadness.  That's just my little opinion, but I am happy with them all.
As for suggestions, I always want one that is like "cheese", a big toothy grin with eyes squeezed shut. Maybe like but with teeth.  Does that make sense?  It too might be repetative. *shrug* OH!  There's another idea, a shrug!

Please don't remove any permanently!
We can just keep 20 or so that we use often on the side,
and have the rest in the View More Emoticons window...

the "view more emoticons" link only started showing up now, because I haven't edited the script to display more rows of icons... I quite like having all the icons display without having to click on links, especially when I'm browsing on my laptop. But that's just my dislike of popup windows !    Won't we use less of the icons once they are hidden?

I agree about the pop up windows - mostly because I know I'll forget they're hidding and wont get to use all the icons.

I think maybe if we organized them more it wouldnt be so over whelming.
