So, I was delighted to receive the Series 7 gals in the mail today.    But then I tried to change their hair, and I discovered that their heads are a litle too big to fit in the older releases' hair pieces!    Why, Vance?!  Why do you always do something a little bit off?!  :  I only messed around with one of the skirts, but I had trouble fitting it on an older release's leg piece, too.    This bothers me muchly. 

Anyone else having similar problems?  I don't see how VAnce can keep on making mistakes like this.  If anyone remembers, series 5 (Miiko and Maki) clothing pieces don't quite fit right with the other pinky releases, either.

ouch! maybe they can only afford cheap manufacturing. I can never get them to stand up without falling, myself...

Me too! Because of #19's head size/weight, she kept falling..
I had to turn her head a little so she was balanced.

Yeah, yeah. It seems like with the scarf on her head can kind of rock back and the balance is off so she falls over. ... Cutest of the cute though.

since i dont have any other pinkies bside the series 7, i cant compare them 

but the pinkies seems fine...i can stand them up...well not at 1st time, but they do now ^^ perhaps just some factory fault~

wow, I'm picking mine up tomorrow and now I'm worried... Why in the world did Vance have to do something like this? Does thatmean she won't fit older hair pieces at ALL 0__0? Not even just a tight fit? oh man I asked the store owner to hold them for me and I really want the pieces... I don't want to back out but this is a maaajor set back 

Hmm I dint notice that at all (big head issue)...As for the pinkys that keep falling, try to use them with bases and tack-it from faber castell, that will help.

I'm picking mine up today as well, I suppose I'll find out how they are compared to my other pinkys.

I use that press-and-stick putty stuff to stick mine to the shelf since it comes right off. I dunno what that tack is but I bet it's similar. But yeah, her head is too big to stand up by herself XD Mikimiki does the same thing and my Ringo also does.

I guess the hair not fitting doesn't apply to me cause I like to keep them all in their original hair and their own clothes :x

by the way am I imagining that my Caine's head is bigger than other pinkys? 

  I hope this is not the case... They increase the price but lower the quality. :( That would stink really bad. 

Hm, after playing with all my series 7 girls, I can say that all the pieces have been fitting just fine for me. I haven't had any issues with the heads fitting with the hair of other pinkys, or vice versa.

That said, the amount of detailing done to the pieces is rather disapointing. Belts and other little things are left unpainted, and there are more noticable color bleeds. How sad...

My Mikimiki stands up just fine. I don't even have to balence her hair.( and yes i'm doing it with the girl's hair look not the boy's)

Well I'm glad some ppl's Series 7 are fitting fine.  I might take an exacto knife and shave off a bit of...  I don't think I can even say it.    It's really strange because on one of them (goth gal, I think), it almost looks like she has a couple of tumors on the back of her head.    So a minor plastic surgery may occur...    If I can convince myself it's really necessary. 

I'm sorry your isn't working  I hope that your next pinkys you get will be fine.....
