Well, 2 things first:

1) Who did you pre-order with? HLJ, for example, will ship before FreeBento (since they're actually in Japan.)

2) What shipping did you use? EMS is much, much faster than SAL (assuming you used HLJ here.)

It makes a big difference, y'see. Like, if you used HLJ with SAL, it could actually end up being slower than Freebento with Priority... even though HLJ should ship first, SAL can be so slow there's time for US sellers to recieve and send out their orders. It varies a bit.

I ordered from Freebento. But thanks for sharing this information about HLJ, I'll use it as a future reference hehe.

I pre-ordered from Jbox. If you pre-order it, will it only reserve and you gotta order it when it ships or the ordered part is already taken care of? (Really clueless..)

for the most part, you don't have to worry about the order after you reserved it. all you have to wait for is for it to ship to you. it's okay, i was probably like you before i started working at GameStop and then i knew what preordering meant @_@;

I ordered with SAL for budget reasons; they'll probably take forever to get here.  (Pre-ordering for the first time too)

On the bright side I'll probably know their names before they get here.

By my experience- there will be people around here who have them first (variances in international shipping, use of EMS, etc.)

When Freebento gets them in, you'll get and email saying "Order#xxxx has been completed". That means it shipped. I'm guess you got Priority Mail, it's usually the cheapest option there. Priority Mail is slated to take 2-3 days, but that's the in-transit time, not the sitting-at-the-office-waiting-to-get-sorted time. Shouldn't take more than a week from the email. 

Just checked email that said it will ship in 2-3 buisness days(also says payment has been proccessed), but I ordered with SAL, so won't it take longer (2-4 weeks)?
Like I said, its my first time pre-ordering and I would just like to know..

how's preordering at FreeBento?? I mean I only picked them because I liked how it was a combined price for all of them and it was way cheaper compared to $11 per Pinky because I was planning to get all three anyway.

okay then. Thanks so much for all the information~! 

that means I'll probably be checking my email even more now. xD

It's interesting to see everyone has his favorite online shop for different reasons 
I like rather HLJ with SAL because it's the cheapest way (each Pinky costs me less than 8 euros), even if I have to wait for eveeeer 
I like Plasticpop a lot too because they get rare Pinkies for a decent price and they're really sweet.

It seems HLJ postponed the serie 7 in October  can't wait 

   whoa! i lose internet access for a few days and i miss out on hearing about series 8! i'm really glad i already pre ordered series 7. i can't wait to see better images of series 8. hopefully they'll come with a super cute extra outfit and fun accessories. i'm intrigued to know what this new p.cos will be also.

i got an email from http://plajapan.com/ and they already have series 8 for pre order! 

even though i really really want to i can't pre order them until i at least see what they end up looking like and the things they come with. i'd also kind of like to have series 7 here first. i'm still sad we don't know their names yet. someone must find out! we must infiltrate Vance!

It seems HLJ has started shipping them out, I see them as "in stock" now. I'll have to see if I got a payment request yet. Can't wait to get them!
