Hey peeps! ^.-

Logged1. After much use, necks tend to break in the middle. I would like to know how to fix this situation. 2. the little tabs that hold her bangs in place break off after time (especially the yukata ones.) How do I fix that?? 3. Where is the number one cheapest place to buy pinkies, but still get decent shipping time? 4. I lose lots of my accessories and ponytails. Is there any place to buy new parts, without buying the whole pinky? Any answers are appreciated

LoggedSecond one only ever happened with one peg on my Agito, I've never fixed it, but perhaps you could find some sort of peg of similar thickness and cut it down to the right length, and glue it on? For the cheapest place to buy Pinkies, I think HLJ or Hobby Search. Both of them charge the Japan price of around $7, and then for shipping you have the cheap option [around $4] and the expensive option [around $10]. Hobby Search only does the expensive EMS though, but their prices are a bit lower for the actual doll. As for seperate parts, there's the market forum, you have enough posts and join time to access it, so you can PM a mod to get it.

LoggedYou could proably use a thin dowel to replace the front hair pegs- just glue in place over where the old ones were (possibly insert a bit of wire for stability.) Not sure on the necks. The market forum here is the best place to get more accessories. You need over 30 posts (check!) and have been a forum member for more than a month, so you'll be able to get access at the end of the month. Meanwhile, visit your local craft store and get some mini ziploc bags and a corkboard- you can thumbtack baggies full of accessories to it so you don't lose them. Beading boxes work good for that too. I'll be honest with you, tho'... I've not known pinkies to break that easily. Do you do a lot of swapping, or is it especially cold where you live? I'm just curious, cuz it seems kinda weird...

LoggedFirst q: I had the same problem, neck of my Yoshiko became almost broken. We fixed it this way: We drilled 1-2cm deep hole (diameter was 0,8 mm) and filed it with very solid steel wire with the same diameter like the hole. It works perfectly. Good luck with pinky surgery!
