LoggedHI everyone, I wanted to ask how do you store your pinkys?
I used to store them in pieces, by color, inside some kind of tupperware box. Do you have suggestions? What do you think is the best way?
Thank you!

LoggedI usually have a little set of drawers and boxes to keep them in. Old jewelery boxes work pretty well. (Not the hinged ones, the ones THOSE come in.)

LoggedI keep all my original boxes... I keep all my Pinkies on display, but the extra parts go either back in the blister, or if they were extra parts bought on the market forum, I have them all in those tiny little individual bags and then in a mug.

LoggedI'm testing out a new method, though it means I now have a pinky morgue. I bought a sixty drawer hardware storage unit. Each drawer just fits one pinky. It cost me about $20, and I plan on labeling the drawers with which pinky is inside. It's kinda large and unnattractive, though.

Im thinking of storing each pinky with head in one sandwich bag, and the spare body without head in another sandwich bag. I just want to avoid paint transfer, it's heartbreaking

Well, if it;s unattractive, you could always decorate it with paint and stickers and stuff... and try to make it blend in with the room.

Loggedi saw someone's idea (i'm sorry, i don't remember who) about storing them in utility boxes. you can adjust where you want to put the "shelves" within the column so it works well for me (although i don't have too many pinkys...yet! ). being able to adjust the shelf length allows you to store the parts individually (like heads, shirts, legs, etc.) separately or semi-assembled like i do. i put the small parts (purses, scarves, etc.) into small boxes used for scrap booking embellishments made by cropper hopper. i'm a stickler for being organized and since i only have nine pinkys, its a good system for a beginning collector. my other six pinkys are on display on my tv but i already purchased a couple more utility boxes for my future pinky purchases. here's a link to a photo of my storage solution in case anyone is interested: http://www.flickr.com/photos/29756636@N07/2784813288/in/set-72157606871163314/i hope that works. if it doesn't, please email me and i can send you a pic. this is only my third post and i'm still learning how to use this forum. i hope this helps!
