Are these done digitally, or on paper? They really look like they're done with pencil and colored markers.

I also like the singer portrait and the flashlight picture. And the rain image, Reina, has a somber feel to it, nicely rendered.

Those are ultra adorable.
They have this definate professional feel that makes me think they could easily be an image gallery of character CGs from a Visual Novel.
Honestly, I don't think I've ever seen Miiko so pretty!
My fave is Hana, you have gotten her personality down in one image.

@davidd: They were all done completely in Photoshop. I suck terribly with traditional media. The only time I use it is in school.

Well, first you do a quick sketch of the basic outlines, then you slap on some color and call it done!

Do you use a Wacom tablet, or just the mouse or trackpad? 

Tablet. Using a mouse would kill my wrists.

Your "Lazy doodles" are absolutely amazing!!!  I wish I could get a tablet but they're so expensive.  I don't think drawing with a mouse would bother my wrist but it's really tricky.
